Improving English

            We have some plans about how to improve our English. Learning English is not easy for foreign people who do not have a clear mind to achieve their goals. First of all, we can start with listening skills. Listening to the radio and American songs are a good ways to increase listening skills. For example, you do not have to stay in one place. While you are driving or jogging, you can use the radio to listen to news, such as on 89.3 KPCC. After that, you can enjoy some American music and try to understand what they are singing. In addition, speaking is always a good way to communicate with people. While you are talking with native speakers, they will be correcting you grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary. Meanwhile, another way to improve communication is to remember a show or movie what you watched. After that, you can tell your friends the summary in English. Last of all, reading some great articles can really help, too. As soon as you find some interesting books, you will learn how to write correctly and fluently. Moreover, reading information from the Internet and newspaper are nice methods for you to get better. In conclusion, English is a popular and useful language to learn. If you want to improve your English, follow these steps you will be better in the future.

     First of all, I live in the United States, and I need to use English to speak someone else. Then, I had better to learn more foreign language because I want to go somewhere for vacation in the future. Last, I have to study English very well, so I can find a good job and earn much money in my life.

b) Do you use English very much when you're not in this class? Explain what situations you need to use it in. (50 words or more)

     Yes, I do. When someone calls me about text book whether for sale, I use English to answer it. Sometimes I need to see a doctor, I use English explain what problem I have. As soon as I connect with my friends, we always speak English for conversation. If I do not understand what professor says, I will use English to ask him or her.

c) How do you feel when you use English? Are you sometimes nervous, comfortable, or...? Explain. (50 words or more)

     When I came here in first month, I very shy spoke English with native American because I afraid they did not understand what I said.  After couple months, I did not feel nervous to talk with other country people. Right now I feel interested use English with native American even though they do not understand me because I can use body language and some English to explain what I mean.
